I've found another of those rare articles (mostly) deserving of praise...

This article will shower some rare praise of mine on a journalist (for that matter, it's rare that I praise the logic of any public figure!), along with a bit of criticism.  Just a bit.

On July 15, 2011, Time Moneyland published an article by Zachary Karabell, titled:

"The U.S. Is Not Drowning In Debt."

Karabell writes:

When US students perform poorly on a test, the most obvious explanation is what? Also, exploring Latino intelligence...

Before I make my point, let me first provide some context:

Today, CNN reported:

"Test results released in June showed that fewer than one quarter of all students are 'proficient' in American history.

Many of the fourth grade students asked about Lincoln on the tests could identify him, but few could say why he was an important president.

At the memorial in Washington, students who saw the president's image on a postcard identified the tall, bearded man as Lincoln. When asked why the 16th president was important, some answers were spot-on, some were entertaining -- and some were disheartening.

One student said he was important because he had a beard.

Another said he was killed at a puppet show.

Their answers aren't surprising.

'The Nation's Report Card: U.S. History 2010,' the tests results report by the U.S. Department of Education's National Center for Education Statistics, showed 20% of fourth graders, 17% of eighth graders and 12% of 12th graders showed 'solid academic performance' on the tests."

With his track record, how could Obama not be a pathological liar?

On Sunday, Joseph Curl of The Washington Times asked:

"Is Obama a Pathological Liar?"

He writes:

Are US laws written by a US government, or by foreigners? And how do you define a “Dream”?

On Friday, The Washington Times reported:

"Organizers of a petition to suspend Maryland’s Dream Act collected more than 108,000 signatures, state elections officials said Friday.

Opponents of the law, which would allow in-state tuition for many illegal immigrants, collected 108,923 valid voter signatures in an effort to send the law to referendum, according to a final count by the State Board of Elections.

The total nearly doubled the 55,736 votes needed to suspend the law and force a November 2012 statewide vote, making it Maryland’s first successful statewide petition drive in 20 years."

So, let me get this straight.

Dear Bill Ford, executive chairman of Ford Motor Company: I have the solution for global gridlock!

Before I present my solution for global gridlock, let me provide some context.

On June 26, CNN published commentary by Bill Ford, executive chairman of Ford Motor Company.  The title of the article is: "Why the world faces a massive traffic jam".

Here are some of Ford's comments:

Introducing: Logic's 'Liars'!

Let me introduce a new section of my site:  Logic's 'Liars'!

The section lists the names of well known people and experts whom I consider myself to have outsmarted!

I found an article that is so good that I must praise it...

Regular readers of mine know what my No Holds Barred, Daily News Commentary section is about:

On a daily basis, I provide commentary and "a-ha" moments of insight about a particular news article.

My articles usually expose flaws in others' work.  Such people are often well known, experts or thought leaders in their field, such as:

How can America be in debt from an expense she hasn't incurred?

In light of the debate about the national debt, I've noticed that several sources have been making an incorrect claim about a very serious topic!

Flashback to the Reagan debt ceiling negotiations!

On May 12, 1987, The New York Times ran an article titled:

"REAGAN URGES A RISE IN DEBT CEILING".

The article states:

To Rep. Jackson Lee: You can't race bait me!

Today, Fox News reported:

Awww. Obama hurt China's feelings? It will take a lot more than hurt feelings to get even with China...

Today, CNN reported:

"China spoke out strongly Sunday against a meeting between U.S. President Barack Obama and the Dalai Lama, saying it 'hurt the feelings of the Chinese people and harmed Sino-U.S. relations.'

'This action seriously interfered with China's internal affairs,' said Ma Zhaoxu, a spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, in a statement, adding that officials have lodged formal complaints with their U.S. counterparts in Beijing and Washington."

Awwwwwwwww.  China's feelings were "hurt"?  US-Chinese relations were "harmed"?  Obama was meddling in China's internal affairs?

Good for Obama.  That's the very least he can do!

After all, China certainly deserves it.  Considering how China has treated America, China more than deserves it!

Does the American public have any good ideas for reducing the deficit? PART ONE

Does the American public have any good ideas for reducing the national debt?  We will soon find out.

Let me first provide you with some context for my article:

I hate to say it, but Obama may be right on this one...

First, let me provide some context for my article.

Regular readers of mine know that I very much dislike Obama.  I dislike Obama because his policies tend to be illogical and harmful to America.  I dislike Obama because of the people he has associated with and hired: People with disturbing histories.  In fact, I've written a six part expose showing just how troubling it is that Americans actually voted for him.

Although Obama usually acts illogically (well, only illogically if one assumes he wants the best for America!), he sometimes does act logical.  I think it's important for me to highlight some of these instances!  After all, I aim to call it like it is, to be unbiased:  "Not Liberal.  Not Conservative.  Just Logical."

Something he's done recently is plausibly logical:

Obama: Americans might not receive Social Security checks! Wait...didn't I predict this?

On Tuesday, CNN reported the latest developments surrounding the debt ceiling "crisis":

"Partisan warfare over the looming debt ceiling crisis escalated Tuesday as GOP leaders once again refused to consider any tax hikes and President Barack Obama warned that, absent a deal, he can't guarantee older Americans will continue receiving Social Security checks next month.

'There may simply not be the money in the coffers to do it,' Obama said, according to excerpts of a CBS News interview scheduled to air Tuesday night."

For regular readers of mine, such talk about Social Security shouldn't be surprising.  After all, on January 23, 2011, I published the following article:

New report vindicates me: It's true. Black-friendly lending policies actually harmed them!

On November 4, 2010, I published the following article of mine:

"Black-friendly money lending policies actually HARMED them! Who would have thunk it?"

My article made the following claims:

Are conservative American voters hopeless?

During late June, Fox News released the results of a poll.

Republican Primary voters told pollsters whom they hoped would become the 2012 Republican presidential nominee.

Here are the top results:

Cheating scandal vindicates me: It's true. American grades are inflated!

On June 17, I wrote an article titled "Say what? How many US students did you say have an A average?"

My article was written in response to this article, which found:

"...in 1966, only 19 percent of college students who were surveyed earned an "A" or "A-minus" average in high school, compared with 48 percent in 2009."

In response to that finding, my article made the following claims:

A debt management "expert" who doesn't understand credit cards?

On June 28, Fox News published an article by Clarky Davis, whom is said to be a "debt management expert and spokesperson for CareOne Debt Relief Services."

Her article, titled "6 Mistakes to Avoid When Paying Off Debt", lists six "typical mistakes consumers make when paying off their debt" in an attempt to become debt free.

I was shocked to read her third tip!

"Not with a white girl"? Interracial dating views of the 74th smartest person in the world! PART ONE

I found an interesting article to write about!

It's published by CNN and written by Dianne Farr, a white woman.  She recounts her experiences with interracial dating.  In particular, her experiences dating both black and asian men.

I will explain my own views about interracial dating/marriage.  But first, for context, let's see what Farr writes:

The 69th greatest thing about America is whaaat?

On Friday, CNN published a list of "100 great things about America".

I didn't get very far before noticing something that obviously shouldn't be on the list:

Friday, July 1

Judges say preferential treatment is constitutional? Justice O'Connor is illogical!

As a result of a 2006 Michigan referendum, colleges were stripped of their ability to take affirmative action when granting student admissions.

1) On Friday, CNN reported the latest developments:

"A divided federal appeals court on Friday struck down Michigan's controversial ban on consideration of race and gender in college admissions.

The 2-1 panel at the 6th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals concluded the voter-approved ban on 'preferential treatment' at state colleges and universities was unconstitutional, and 'alters Michigan's political structure by impermissibly burdening racial minorities.'"

So, if A + B = C, then C - B = A.  Right?

Let's work backward here.
